Position title: Volunteer Development Manager

Position reports to: Volunteer Development Director, Jennifer Stolte

Position status: Full time

Location: Hazleton

Travel required: Yes. Service area for this position is Hazleton, Scranton, Harrisburg and Montoursville

Position summary:

Responsible for coordinating and supporting volunteer development including application, reference, training and recognition functions needed to support council educational events.

Skills and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field;

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred;

Five years (5) experience developing curriculum and overseeing program implementation

Strong presentation skills

Ability to travel, work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Strong public relations skills and ability to develop community collaborations;

Ability to effectively identify, analyze and solve problems.
