The Pennsylvania Governor's Conference for Women is the state's premiere networking

and educational experience designed to help women and girls enrich their lives,

advance their careers and grow personally and professionally.

 

This one-day Conference features nationally recognized speakers, presenters and panelists who are leaders

in business, media, health, personal development and finance. They share their experience and expertise

on everything from leading change to managing money to finding a work/life balance.

 

Our popular Young Women's Program is perfect for Girl Scouts. It features speakers and topics that encourage

young women to overcome obstacles and maximize their potential. Those who attend have an opportunity

to apply for scholarships higher education through the Conference Scholarship Program.

 

In addition to the dynamic program, hundreds of exhibitors showcase a wide variety of products and services,

providing a unique opportunity to connect  like-minded individuals and organizations.

DEADLINE for nominations is August 20, 2008

Cost will include travel, food, and sightseeing fees and will be kept to a minimum.

 Girls will miss 2 days of school.

More information will be given upon selection into the conference.

Pittsburgh is a city rich in history, art, and

shopping. We will tour the city starting

immediately after the conference with a

“Chicken and Rib” cruise on the Three Rivers.

Friday we will experience the

living art at the “Mattress Factory”, 

experience “Andy Warhol Museum”,

visit the “Pittsburg Steelers Stadium”,

take a ride up the “Duquesne Incline”,

a 1877 cable car,

eat at “Joe’s Crab Shack” and

shop in the “Strip District”.

Activities are subject to change before trip due to time of year and availability.

Substitutions will be made in the event an activity has to be changed.
